Accessibility

ASU Student Accessibility and Inclusive Learning Services (SAILS) provides support and access to learners to enhance the quality of learners’ educational experience and ensure accessibility for all programs and services.

To receive accommodations for a qualifying disability, follow the below steps. Note that all requests must be made at the beginning of a course.

  • Register as a new student on the Student Accessibility and Inclusive Learning Services site.Screenshot of ASU accessibility website homepage. Maroon new student registration button is outlined in gold.
  • When a SAILS team member reaches out, please indicate that you are taking Universal Learner Courses so that they can complete the steps required for ULC learners.
  • If you require accommodations, we recommend you apply as soon as you enroll in your course(s) as it may take up to six weeks to schedule an appointment.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that accommodations are requested in advance. Any approved accommodations cannot be retroactively applied.
